Obituary of Libby Carico Elizabeth "Libby" Howard Snotherly Carico, age 69, of Asheboro
died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Mrs. Carico was born September 22, 1945, the daughter of Robert and Audrey Booth Howard. Libby was a native of Raleigh, NC and worked as an assistant teacher with Asheboro City Schools. She was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Libby is preceded in death by her husbands: Thomas Edwin Snotherly and Michael Wayne Carico. She is survived by: son and his wife: Brett and Addie Snotherly of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife: Howie and Jill Snotherly of Seven Lakes, NC; grandchildren: Cade and Brecken Snotherly and Elizabeth and Janet Snotherly; sister and her husband: Cathy and Henry Long of Raleigh, NC; sisters-in-law: Martha White; Becky Harrison; Cindy Beaver all of Raleigh, NC; and one brother-in-law: Willie Wolfe of Raleigh, NC.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 2225 South Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, with Dr. Richard Crider and Pastor Michael Spector officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Memorial Gardens, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
