Stephanie Rogers Hunter Graham Obituary

BURLINGTON - Stephanie Rogers Hunter Graham, born February 20, 1945, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015.
A native of Wake County, she was the wife of Charles Edward Graham and the daughter of the late George "Dick" Wilson Hunter and the late Estelle "Stevie" Rogers Hunter. She graduated from UNC-CH pharmaceutical school in 1968. She was a member of Kappa Epsilon Fraternity for Women in Pharmacy and the Pharmaceutical Honor Society, Rho Chi Society. She began her career with Eckerds, and then the Lincoln Health Center in Durham. She worked with Kaiser Permanente when she moved to Texas and continued with the company when she returned to North Carolina. She finished her career with Piedmont Health Services. During her career she served as a Preceptor for new pharmacists.
Stephanie married Charles on Jan. 30, 1970, in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. They were married for 45 years. Stephanie enjoyed traveling around the United States with her husband and their close family friend, Roger Lemmons. She took joy in and was entertained watching her grandchildren participating in soccer, softball, cheerleading and basketball. She was an avid reader and member of Union Ridge Church, the Graham Chandler Sunday School Class, the Richard Jackson Circle and Society Hill Ladies. 
In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include one daughter, Tracy Graham Holcombe and her husband Dale of Franklinton; one son, Michael Charles Graham and his wife Lindsay of Wake Forest; one brother, George "Buddy" Hunter and his wife Peggy of Franklin County; and six grandchildren, Kyle Graham, Wilson Holcombe, Zachary Graham, Anna Holcombe, Nathan Graham, and Carter Graham. 
The funeral service will be conducted at Union Ridge Church on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dan Ficklin and the Rev. James Rosser. The burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the funeral service.
