My sympathy and positive thoughts go out to Kay's family and friends. My memory is Kay started in 1951 when we moved into our house on Eaton Road which backed up to the Hughes' house. She is truly the only reason I made it through French class. She is missed.
So appreciate thinking about Kay and reading these fond memories. I remember how she enjoyed going out with Stanley Hofmeister - was it junior or senior year? Two fine, smart people and much missed.
